Do you charge fees?

We pride ourselves on delivering travel experiences that go beyond expectations.

Our one-of-a-kind itineraries are designed around our travelers’ unique travel style and preferences, for that reason there are planning fees accessed covering our time hand selecting every detail. We take the time to understand what is most important to our clients during their time away and use these details to design a vacation that fits like a well-tailored suit.

However, travelers who already know where they want to go and which hotel they’d like to stay at can still take advantage of the PLT perks with complimentary hotel booking support and added amenities.

Do we pay premium rates when booking through PLT?

The short answer is no.

The not-so-short answer is that we cannot guarantee that sites like Expedia will not, at times, offer better “deals.” However, we always do our best to match or beat the best available rate and pass along added benefits like VIP amenities.

Do you work with everyone?

To uphold our high-quality standards, our team works with a limited number of clients who share our appreciation for long-standing relationships and personalized service. Before taking on a new client, we consult with them to ensure that our services can add value and enhance their travel experiences.

We specialize in seamless and unique travel experiences across the world. The cost for such experiences varies based on the complexity of the trip.

Our planning process begins with a complimentary consultation call to hear more about your desires for your trip and what’s most important to you while traveling.

During this meeting, we’ll discuss our fee structure and estimated trip cost.

Are the trip costs broken down line-by-line, or will it be one price?

Whenever possible, each of our trip proposals will include itemized costs.

We work with the world’s most reputable travel partners, who serve as our clients’ on-the-ground advocates, and negotiate fair rates with individual operators, such as guides and drivers. In some cases, these operators may be contractually unable to provide price breakdowns at the time of the proposal.

Do you recommend travel insurance?

All caps – YES! In this day and age, we’ve learned to expect the unexpected.

Many of our trips require a final, and typically nonrefundable, payment to be made several months before departure. We strongly encourage our clients to protect their investment with travel insurance. Our team will provide policies and quotes from our preferred agency in each trip proposal.

If you decline travel insurance coverage, we will ask you to sign a waiver stating you have decided not to purchase this coverage.

Will you help book my travel using points and/or miles?

While we do not book with points and miles, we are happy to help fill in the gaps and book the remainder of your trip should your miles only cover a portion.
